November 2016 Income Report

Welcome to my November 2016 Income Report. I would like to start it off by also welcoming you to PPF Financial! If this is the first article of mine you’ve read then afterwards you should check out a few of the other articles I have recently written.

How much did I make this month?

This month I did much better than the $9.27 I made last month. It’s a great start and I’m very happy with it after completing my first full month blogging. I imagine if I could find the time to invest into my blog more, it would be higher though.  All of my income from this month came from a single source, which I am not happy about.

This means I didn’t put any effort into raising money elsewhere and just settled for the income I received just for having my blog on the internet. I really hope to change this in the month of December but, with the holidays rolling around, there is no telling what kind of time I’ll have this coming month.

Monthly Income

Google Adsense  –  $59.82

Total Income  – $59.82

You may be wondering why it is I want to tell you my monthly earnings. I want to say it’s all for you but that wouldn’t be 100% true. I want to use these income reports to look back on my beginnings. The same reason I’m posting once a week in The First Year of my Blog. The difference between the two is after my blog has reached a year old, I will no longer be posting on my blog’s first year but I will still be doing monthly income reports.

It’s not all about me though. Another big reason I want to post my monthly reports is to be completely transparent with all of you. Sure, I could post about how I made $4000 this month and how you should sign up to do the same. This wouldn’t be fair to any of you and I would feel terrible about misleading anyone into anything.

I’m not going to sit here and preach that it’s been super easy and that I’ve made a lot of money when I really haven’t. What  I will tell you though, is there is a relation to how much I make, and how much effort I put into my blog. Hopefully as the year goes on I will be able to show you how much of a relation there is but, until then, I’ll just keep posting my updates and letting you see for yourself.

What am I going to do with the money?

The amount of money I received from November will go towards improving my blog and my relationship with my readers. Hopefully I can continue to earn a little more each month from my blog. I want to be able to at least make more money from my blog than I have spent on it. This goes for my blogging expenses each month. I don’t want to spend way more than I earn even though it may slow down my progress.

Currently as of today I owe several place a grand total of $187,131.39. I wont be doing a breakdown of what I owe and to who just so I can keep a little privacy for myself, but this is currently what I am working to pay off. This includes everything from credit cards, student loans, mortgages, auto loans, and anything else you might be able to think of.

I don’t know if I am going to spend any of the money from this month on eBook courses but if I do I’ll make sure to let you know. I want to try to at least get one course done next month, even if it’s a free one. You should check out my REVIEW of Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course that I did the last month. Also if you have reviews of products you would recommend, please feel free to email them to me or add them into the comments below.

How much did I spend this month on the blog?

So not only am I going to tell you how much I make every month, I’m also going to tell you how much I spent and where the money went. This month I didn’t have nearly as much expense as I did last month. This was due completely because most of my expenses were payments for a year or more of service. I wanted to save in the long run and give myself a little motivation to stick with blogging for a while.

If you decide you would like to know how to start-up your own blog you can find out by reading, my cleverly titled, How to Start a Blog in Less Than 30 Minutes article. It really is easy to set up and being self-hosted has way more benefits than the free services you’ll find.

Monthly Expense

Bluehost  –  (This has already been paid for in a previous month)$0

WordPress Theme  – (This has already been paid for in a previous month) $0

Ads  –  $0

Convert Kit  –  (I use this to manage my email subscriptions)  –  $30

Learning Tools  –  (I didn’t learn crap this month)  –  $0

Total Expenses  –  $30

What did my social media attention look like?

So I wont spend too much time here during this my first year, because I include a weekly update on this in My Blogs First Year and in my weekly articles. If you didn’t know, these are the same thing, I just compile all of my weekly updates in  a single page at my blogs first year.  I didn’t really have any expectations on my followers and such because I’ve never done this. If any of you have stats from your first months social media pages I would love to see them or hear about them!

Summary

This month I slacked a lot on my blog articles. I really have been beating myself up over the lack of attention I’ve given to my blog this past month. This includes my social media outlets. I plan on making sure I focus a little more of my time and effort on promoting and publishing blog posts in this coming month. On a brighter note, I earned more money during this past month, then I spent in the month.

I am still in the negative as far as how much I have earned as opposed to how much I’ve spent. This is a trend I apparently bring with me from my personal life. Luckily for both, my blog and my personal life, the majority of the debt is tied up as an asset. Next month I hope to try to bring myself from the negative into the positive with a few additional sources of income.

Total lifetime Blog Revenue  –  – $463.80

I’d say you killed it again this month. Even though you only made income from one place, you’re setting up a foundation to expand your blog earnings on. Also, now you know what areas you should focus on this coming month. Good luck in December!

Thank you so much! I sure hope I can continue to move up in this area! It makes it so much easier to do when I see that there is some hope. It is really difficult building up a following. but I’m trying. Thanks for the well wishes!
